This site will be continuously updated during emergencies (such as weather events) that impact campus operations. Should a true emergency take place, the College will employ its Emergency Notification system. Update your emergency contact information in BIONIC or contact Human Resources for the appropriate form.

If no updates are listed for an office, please check the General Updates section and otherwise assume the office is open for business as usual.


The OneCard Office is closed until further notice.

Please email onecard@brynmawr.edu for meal plan or other transaction issues.

If you have lost your OneCard please go to the Campus Safety Office and they will arrange for temporary building access.


Controller's Office

All payroll deadlines for time sheet submissions remain unchanged (see schedules for biweekly staff and students).  For now, we ask that all time sheets be submitted electronically.  Supervisors can email time sheets to payroll@brynmawr.edu (acceptable formats scan, PDF, Excel, clear/legible photograph). The email from the supervisor will serve as the formal approval. COVID-19 sick time should be recorded as Sick or Sick Other on time sheets (please check in with Human Resources for additional information on this topic). Please send any time sheet related questions to payroll@brynmawr.edu.

To facilitate your work, the Controller’s Office will continue processing vendor payments through eMarket, reimbursements, and fellowships on the usual schedule. Any requests that you would normally send through campus mail, are better emailed to accountspayable@brynmawr.edu. If you do not have access to a scanner, we can accept clear and legible photographs. Requests should be emailed by budget approvers or those approvers should be copied. If a request is to reimburse an employee, the employee should be copied as well. Please send any payment-related questions to accountspayable@brynmawr.edu.

The mailroom window will be open 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Closed weekends. For information about mail and package forwarding during this remote learning period, visit brynmawr.edu/postoffice

Regularly scheduled campus deliveries to offices are suspended. Faculty and staff may pick up mail and packages at the mailroom window in the Campus Center. Mailroom staff may be able to deliver upon request. Please call ext. 7336 if you would like to arrange a delivery.


Your BMC Bookshop continues to provide essentials — food, health & beauty, textbooks, etc — to the campus, but we have transitioned to contactless pickup with limited hours.  Bookshop staff will be in store Mondays and Thursdays, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, and will also be available by email throughout the day every day. Please follow this link to our blog for full details.

The bookshop website is open 24/7 at bookshop.brynmawr.edu and we are currently offering free shipping on all orders. We will fill and ship internet orders as soon as possible (usually Mondays and Thursdays).


New Dorm Dining Hall

Current Hours are designed to effectively serve students, help protect our students and our staff, and be responsive to the Governor’s orders:

Summer Hours (May 16th to August 1st)

Erdman Dining Hall will be closed until further notice.

Wyndham Catering, Restaurant. and Bed & Breakfast will be closed until further notice.

Health Center

Due to the measures being taken in response to COVID-19, Health Center staff are available by phone. Please dial (610) 526-7360 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday to speak with a Health Center staff member. Students are strongly encouraged to call the Health Center during hours of operation to obtain support with their health care needs.


March 12, 2020: Schwartz Fitness and Athletic Center—including the pool, fitness center and gym—will be closed until further notice.

  • Campus Center (Open by electronic key/ID card; access limited to BMC students, faculty and staff):
    • Common areas: Open all days from 8 am – 5 pm and with card access for undergraduate students in residence until midnight
    • Post Office: No campus delivery but the window will be open; see Mailroom section of this page for details
    • Bookstore: See Bookshop section of this page for more details

Effective Monday, March 16, 2020, the Lantern Shuttle will be operated by a professional transportation driver from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. every day. Escorts are for on campus locations only.  Please call (610) 526-7911 for rides until the college resumes normal operations.

All other transportation services are suspended until further notice.
